Cook/Douglass

Cook Campus is the home of the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences as well as the RU-Cool Center for Ocean Observing Leadership and the beautiful Rutgers Gardens. Traditional residence halls are spread across Cook’s wooded acres and green fields. Cook also houses upper-class and graduate students in garden-style apartments.

In addition to some co-ed housing options, Douglass Campus is home to Douglass Residential College (DRC), which offers women the opportunity to live in single-gender residence halls and apartments. The DRC prepares undergraduate women for success in an increasingly diverse, competitive, and global public arena. Douglass women also have several special living options with the DRC, including for STEM majors and women interested in global advocacy and awareness.
