Student Employment

• Residence Life Conference Services offers valuable work experience as a Summer Conference Staff Supervisor, Operations Coordinator for Student Orientation and Transition Programs, or Conference Assistant.
• These opportunities are for continuing Rutgers students only (must be enrolled for summer or fall 2026 classes).
• Preference for the Conference Staff Supervisor and Operations Coordinator positions will be given to rising seniors or first-year graduate students.
• Conference Staff Supervisors must work part-time from March through mid-May, and full time from mid-May through the end of August.
• Operations Coordinators and Conference Assistants work full-time from mid-May through the end of August.
• Standard office hours are required, plus evenings and weekends as determined by the summer conference schedule. Must be available for the duration of the summer (no extended time off).
• Conference Assistants will earn $15.92 per hour.
• Conference Staff Supervisors and Operations Coordinator will earn $17.50 per hour plus $500.00 food stipend.
• All Conference Services staff are encouraged to live on campus and are provided a single bedroom in an apartment at no cost to the employee
