THE PRIORITY DEADLINE FOR CONFERENCE SUPERVISOR APPLICATIONS IS FRIDAY DECEMBER 6, 2024. Recruitment for Conference Assistants will begin in February.
- Residence Life Conference Services offers valuable work experience as a Summer Conference Staff Supervisor, Conference Assistant, or Operations Coordinator for Student Orientation and Transition Programs.
- These opportunities are for continuing Rutgers students only (must be enrolled for summer or fall 2025 classes).
- Preference for Conference Staff Supervisor and Operations Coordinator positions will be given to upperclass undergraduate students or first-year graduate students.
- Conference Staff Supervisors must work part-time from March through mid-May, and full time from mid-May through the end of August.
- Conference Assistants and Operations Coordinators work full-time from mid‐May through the end of August.
- Standard office hours are required, plus evenings and weekends as determined by the conference schedule. Must be available for the duration of the summer (no extended time off).
- Conference Assistants will earn $15.49 per hour.
- Conference Staff Supervisors and Operations Coordinator will earn $16.50 per hour plus $500.00 food stipend.
- All Conference Services staff are encouraged to live on campus and are provided a single bedroom in an apartment at no cost to the employee (Staff Supervisors are required to live on campus).
