Why did you choose to work at Rutgers Residence Life?

I love connecting with prospective students and guiding them toward resources, events, and programs/organizations that will support them in their undergraduate journey, so working at Rutgers Residence Life was a no-brainer! As a first-generation college graduate, I remember how stressful and lonely my freshman year felt because I had no idea what Rutgers had to offer. It was through engaging and vibrant student leaders and staff that I found multiple communities where I could thrive in my identity. As I progress in my professional journey, my main goal is to always use my privilege of higher education and my skills to bridge knowledge and resources for those who need them.
