- Convocation is at 5:30 pm on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Jersey Mike's Arena.
- There is a HOME FOOTBALL GAME on Thursday, August 28, 2025. There will be NO scheduled move-ins on this date.

Brett Hall is a traditional residence hall built in 1964. Named after Phillip Milledoler Brett, who has served as both a Trustee of Rutgers University and President of Rutgers from 1930-1932. Clothier
Clothier Hall is a traditional residence hall built in 1963. It was named after Robert Clarkson Clothier (1885-1970), who served as president of Rutgers University from 1932-51. Clothier was also president of the New Jersey Constitutional Convention in 1947 and a reporter for the Wall Street Journal. Clothier Hall is located near 12 other residence halls on College Ave, and is home to the College Avenue Residence Life Office, making it easier for students to contact the Residence Life staff if they have any questions or concerns. Demarest
Demarest Hall is a traditional residence hall built in 1950. Demarest hosts a number of special interest sections focused on subjects in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. These groups foster an engaged and diverse community as well as a noted pride for living in Demarest. The students of Demarest also host frequent events, including coffeehouses, art shows, drag shows, band nights, and more. Sojourner Truth Apartments
Opening in the Fall of 2016, Sojourner Truth Apartments are a 14-story, U-shaped university apartment building at the corner of College Avenue and Hamilton Street. Named for abolitionist and women’s rights activist Sojourner Truth, a former slave who was owned as a young girl by the family of Rutgers’ first president Jacob Hardenbergh, College Avenue’s newest residence hall features 135 single-bedroom apartments (up to four bedrooms per unit) on 13 residential floors. The building will house 442 continuing students. The first floor of the Sojourner Truth Apartments will be home to The Yard, a New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO) multi-use project that will feature communal areas and green spaces, along with a select retailers and restaurants. Stonier
Stonier Hall is a traditional residence hall with private baths built in 1963, so every room has their own bathroom. It is named after Harold Stonier (1890-1957). In 1935, Stonier founded the Graduate School of Banking (later Stonier Graduate School) at Rutgers. He served as director (1935-1955) and later dean (1955-1957).
