Wellness Rooms

Looking for a quiet, calming space to relax? The Residential Care Team manages three wellness rooms on campus. The Livi-Well Room (Located in Livingston Apartments A on Livingston Campus), the Mediation Station (located in the Winkler Suites on Busch Campus), and the Zen Den (located in Perry Hall on Cook Campus) are spaces where residents can attend wellness programs and activities hosted by the Residential Care Team. Many of the programs and activities will be facilitated in collaboration with campus partners, as well as Residence Life staff. Residents can utilize these spaces to de-stress and explore opportunities to learn about their personal wellness throughout the semester.

Located in Livingston Apartments A on the Livingston Campus, the Livi-Well Room provides a serene environment for students to decompress and take a step away from their day-to-day activities. The Livi-Well Room comes equipped with soothing lighting, comfortable seating, small tables for silent study, sand gardens, bean bag chairs, and yoga mats, and more. The Meditation Station

Located in Winkler Suites on Busch Campus, the Meditation Station provides a calming environment for students to meditate and relax. The Meditation Station comes equipped with soothing lighting, comfortable seating, small tables for silent study, sand gardens, bean bag chairs, meditation guides, and more. The Zen Den

Located in Perry Hall on Cook Campus, the Zen Den provides a peacful space for students to study. With a focus on occupational wellness, students can enjoy comfortable seating, tables for silent study, resources related to self-care and study, and more. Perry Hall is ADA accessible and air-cooled. The Zen Den is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Wellness Room Reservation by Request

The Residential Care Team supports the ongoing effort to provide spaces that aid in the mental well-being of our residential students. Residence Life staff members and campus wellness partners are able to reserve the wellness rooms by request for their student populations through the Residential Care Team (see below for reservation details). Programs should be geared towards the unique needs of student communities and focus on the eight dimensions of wellness (physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, financial, environmental, social, and spiritual). The Residential Care Team offers remote programs and in-person programs that can be facilitated for your student groups, as well. You can find our programming menu under Residential Care Programs. You can submit a reservation request by completing a reservation request form. A Residential Care Team member will follow up via email within 1-3 business days of your request.
