Health and Medicine Students

The Health and Medicine Living-Learning Community is a self-selected group of first-year students who enjoy the benefits of sharing common residential experiences while making new friends, exploring common interests and being a part of a close community of peers.

Students will benefit from special programs and having residence life staff assistance in transitioning to Rutgers. This community is designed for students who have an interest in pre-medicine, and who aspire to a career in the health professions.

This program focuses on assisting students in their transition from high school to college by sharing common first-year courses such as General Biology, Bio Lab, and Bio Practice Group while receiving academic and personal advisement that will help to guide students to be successful during their first year. This community is NOT for students who have likely AP-ed out of General Biology, as Biology is the major focus of this community.

If you are dedicated to making your first year at Rutgers both academically and socially rewarding on the road to medical school, then the Health & Medicine LLC is the perfect place to begin that journey!
