Why did you choose to work at Rutgers Residence Life?
My role in Rutgers Residence Life is to help the Department and my colleagues with applying evidence based practices to providing services for and supporting students. The overarching goal is to enrich Rutgers student experience. In order to work toward the goal, Rutgers Residence Life offers a variety of opportunities, particularly for on-campus students, in the areas of personal, social, cultural and academic growth. Those opportunities are identified through research and assessment, including those undertaken to learn directly from students here at Rutgers on a regular basis. Sharing the learnings from those undertakings with various audiences such as students, faculty and staff within and outside the University is another part of my role that I enjoy.
