Clothier Hall is a traditional residence hall built in 1963. It was named after Robert Clarkson Clothier (1885-1970), who served as president of Rutgers University from 1932-51. Clothier was also president of the New Jersey Constitutional Convention in 1947 and a reporter for the Wall Street Journal. Clothier Hall is located near 12 other residence halls on College Ave, and is home to the SAS Transfer Knights Living-Learning Community. It is also home to the College Avenue Residence Life Office, making it easier for students to contact the Residence Life staff if they have any questions or concerns.
